Features of the standard types of corrugated

Although there is a relatively high number of types of board, the packaging producers use mostly the three wall corrugated with a B, C or E flute profile and the five wall corrugated with CB and CE flute.

The three wall corrugated has a weight between 490 - 930 g/mp and a burst resistance of 300-1200 kPa, having the possibility of being printed in 1-3 colors. It is the ideal option for all the board boxes that do not have special requests for resistance, resulting in packages that are easily printed, light-weighed and remarkably cost-effective.

The five wall corrugated weighs between 820 - 1500 g/mp and a burst resistance of 900 - 2500 kPa. It can be printed on in 1 - 3 colors. It is perfect for the board boxes that need a higher resistance than that of the three wall corrugated.

It can be said that for any type of packaging needed, there are ways mixing flute profiles to optimize the transport and storage of the packed products.
